Why should I come to this event?
There are hundreds of scenarios that apply but if any of these ring true for you, then you need to be there:
- I've hired a few new people and want to be able to provide them with quality training in sales and recruiting techniques and/or I want my existing staff to learn how to become even better at what they do.

What IS an UNConference?
A gathering of minds, experiences and opinions where the attendees lead the conversation.
There are four (4) simple rules:
- No Presentations
- No PowerPoint
- No Name Badges
- No Pitching
Apart from that, anything goes.
We won't have presentations because the best knowledge is in the room -- participants from all kinds of backgrounds. Job Boards, Recruiters, Technologists, Mobile Specialists, Branding Companies and more, all with a shared interest in talent attraction from a different perspective.
There IS individual and group interaction.
No PowerPoint because we want the eyes to meet in the middle and give everyone an opportunity to have the floor.
No Name Badges because we believe that if you don't know who someone is, you should introduce yourself and start talking.
No Pitching because we don't have exhibits or stands.

I need to spend the night. Does CSP have a hotel room block?
We do have a block of rooms at the JW Marriott for only $175.00 single/double occupancy plus tax.per night. There is an optional daily resort fee of $24.00 which would include high-speed internet access, self-parking, local calls, fitness center access and more. Simply tell the reservationist that you are with California Staffing Professionals.
The cut-off date for discount reservations is May 21st, 2012 (or when our block is filled). After May 21, the regular corporate or rack rate may apply, based on space availability. Currently, those rates are quoted at $229-$289. The JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa is located at 74855 Country Club Drive, Palm Desert, CA 92260.
Room Rates will be honored for stays between 6/12 to 6/17 (check-out 6/18).
